When OGSYS began developing our first oil and gas accounting system in 1980, we had no idea our program would become the industry's leading system and that we would maintain a leadership role over the next 20 years. Since our incorporation in 1982, our stable management team has guided OGSYS to the forefront in the industry. Meanwhile year after year, we have continued providing the most innovative software solutions and the highest quality service in the industry.

Initially, we directed our focus toward servicing the small, independent, domestic producer. As OGSYS grew, we extended our client footprint reaching globally into worldwide markets. Although a majority of our installed client base has remained domestic, our products have shown extensive growth in international markets. In 1985 as the microprocessor technical platform grew, we expanded the focus of our original product – OGdos – to include multi-user capability to accommodate clients operating on LAN (local area network) technology.

As the OGdos application matured, its appeal attracted clients of varying sizes, expanding its use into larger and larger companies. Today, the typical OGSYS user is an independent producer-operator with multiple networked users. OGSYS offers solutions for joint ventures, partnerships, and multiple consolidated entities with oil and non-oil interests. The OGSYS Report Writer enables users to gain instant information on both their operated and non-operated properties.

In 1997, OGSYS achieved another significant milestone with the release of OGwin, the industry's first 32-bit Windows© solution. OGwin preceded competitor systems by several years and allows us to continue our technological lead over other vendors. In OGwin, we replaced our 10-megabyte OGdos system with a true 32-bit Windows solution. What began as a productive one million lines of code application exploded into a robust four million lines of code product contained in this 64-megabyte package.

From the very first installation, we have extended our commitment to technical leadership and innovation. OGdos / OGwin were the first programs to offer such features as database design, integrated spreadsheet, report writer, delayed processing, delay-batch printing, on-screen help, table look-up, drill-down report review and much more. The aggressive pursuit of technical solutions to industry problems has always been the bedrock of our client-centric foundation.

Today, OGSYS continues to expand and enhance the OGwin application with its vast array of features. We are immensely proud of our role as a leader and innovator in this marketplace, a role that our clients assigned to us throughout the last 20 plus years. Importantly, we continue to earn this commitment from clients by offering continuously improving quality products backed up by excellent service.
