Computer/Processor Requirements:

Intel® or compatible. Pentium 1 GHz or higher, Pentium 4, or the minimum processor required for your operating system, which varies for SQL Server editions.

The server and workstation requirements should be based on current hardware configurations offered by most hardware vendors. The industry changes constantly so if your purchasing a new system try and choose something that will last you a few years.
We recommend Dell as a good source for Server and workstations specifications. Also remember when purchasing a new system that OGwin is more complex than a word processor application. OGwin requires a lot of processing when running large reports, month end close, etc. In short, the faster the workstation the faster the software will perform.

Memory Workstation 256 MB minimum, Server 1024 MB (recommended). More RAM at the server level will promote improved throughput.

Hard Disk full install 70 MB. Database size is contingent upon many company specific criteria, but average is around 500 megabytes.

Microsoft Windows 2000 Standard or Advance Server, Service Pack 4 or later must be installed as a minimum requirement for OGwin. Windows 2003 Server is recommended. Small Business Server is not recommended.
Novell 5 or later and for Novell's product life cycle check here http://support.novell.com/lifecycle/eoltable.html. Due to the large amount of processing OGSYS does not recommend peer to peer environments for over 2 users.
